In cooperation with Ek Ek Paila, a group of like-minded Nepalese doctors and dedicated citizens, the first medical camp was held in Gamghadi, Mugu district, in April 2017. We performed a total of 6200 medical treatments. At this camp, Dr. Shashi Praetorius was on site. German Pharmacists’ Aid have generously provided donations of medicine and financial support.

“It’s unbelievable what the Ek Ek Paila team achieves in the Medical Camps. I was able to attend several times and got an idea of the work, for example in April of 2017 in Gamghadi in the remote Mugu area in western Nepal. The majority of people in Mugu have never seen a medical specialist in their lives. It is a wonderful “win win” equation, because the mountain population receives high quality and differentiated medical care and thanks to their gratitude the team of Ek Ek Paila experiences infinite happiness and satisfaction. ” – Shashi Praetorius, founder of the GMP Foundation.

The next medical camp is expected to take place in the spring of 2018 in the remote area of Jumla in West Nepal.

If you want to support our work, we look forward to receiving your donation.
